The Ueno Zoo is a must visit for everyone checking out popular tourist destinations in Tokyo. It is one of the oldest zoos in the country, and features more than 2,600 animals to view. NOTE: The zoo will cost 600 yen for adults, and 200 yen for children. It is open every day but Monday from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
